Texas High School Basketball - Decatur nudges Burkburnett
December 30, 2021: Decatur, TX 76234 Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Burkburnett Bulldogs (Burkburnett, TX), 62-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Decatur upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Eagles travel to Diboll (Diboll, TX) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 30. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Diboll won 70-36 in their recent non-league bout against Seminole (Seminole, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Burkburnett will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 59-58 non-league loss to Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX).
