December 30, 2021: Cambridge, MA 02138 The Needham Rockets (Needham, MA) basketball nipped the host Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons (Cambridge, MA), 36-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Rockets (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Braintree (Braintree, MA). The Wamps go into the Bay State - Herget test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Braintree got by Quincy (Quincy, MA), 72-38, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Waltham for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 4. Cambridge Rindge & Latin will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 60-57 league loss to Bedford (Bedford, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
