The Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons topped the visiting Gaither Cowboys basketball team by a final score of 74-62 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Fightin' Tarpons face the North Port Bobcats (North Port, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 4. Charlotte will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 51-35 non-league win over Sarasota (Sarasota, FL).

With the defeat, Gaither moves to 4-7 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Alonso (Tampa, FL) to face the Ravens in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 4.
