The Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX), 59-49 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region I District 7 test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Castleberry notched a victory over Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX), 79-49, in a non-league test.

The Lumberjacks now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Pollok Central for a 3A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, January 4.
