December 30, 2021: Louisville, KY 40214 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Doss Dragons (Louisville, KY), by a margin of 63-60.
The Hornets (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL). The Indians go into the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, DuQuoin got by Carlyle (Carlyle, IL), 81-64, in a non-league outing.
The Dragons now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Butler for a District 22 outing on Tuesday, January 4. Doss will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 74-68 non-league win over Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Bears record now stands at 5-5.
