Eagle Mustangs (Eagle, ID) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Post Falls Trojans (Post Falls, ID), 58-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eagle upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID) to play the Grizzlies in a 5A Southern Idaho bout on Wednesday, January 5. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Rocky Mountain won 58-37 in their recent non-league bout against Thunder Ridge (Idaho Falls, ID)

Next up, the Trojans play the Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Post Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Riverhawks come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 63-49 non-league loss to Mead (Spokane, WA).
