December 30, 2021: McCamey, TX 79752 McCamey Badgers (McCamey, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Menard Yellowjackets (Menard, TX), 69-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McCamey upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Badgers travel to O'Donnell (O'Donnell, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-6. O'Donnell won 54-40 in their recent non-league bout against Westbrook (Westbrook, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Santa Anna Mountaineers (Santa Anna, TX) in a 1A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Menard will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 79-58 non-league loss to Smoking for Jesus Ministry Christian School (Burnet, TX).
