December 30, 2021: Priest River, ID 83856 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Weiser Wolverines (Weiser, ID) and the host Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID), saw Weiser's basketball squad overcome Priest River by a tally of 69-61.
With the victory, Weiser improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Homedale (Homedale, ID) to confront the Trojans in a 3A Snake River Valley challenge on Saturday, January 15. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Wallace Miners (Wallace, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Priest River will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Miners come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 66-51 non-league loss to Kellogg (Kellogg, ID).
