Connecticut High School Basketball - Farmington holds off Canton
December 30, 2021: Canton, CT 06019 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) and the host Canton Warriors (Canton, CT), saw Farmington's basketball squad hold off Canton by a tally of 46-45.
With the victory, Farmington improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The River Hawks travel to Hall (West Hartford, CT) to confront the Warriors in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Canton will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 61-43 league win over Ellington (Ellington, CT).
