Nevada High School Basketball - Needles fells Desert Pines

December 30, 2021: Las Vegas, NV 89110

Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Needles upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Moapa Valley (Overton, NV) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 30. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Moapa Valley won 50-14 in their recent non-league bout against Basic (Henderson, NV)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Mojave Rattlers (North Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 6. Desert Pines will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 62-16 non-league loss to Century (Pocatello, ID).
