California High School Basketball - Lynwood holds off Fairmont Prep
December 30, 2021: Lynwood, CA 90262 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lynwood Knights (Lynwood, CA) and the visiting Fairmont Prep Huskies (Anaheim, CA), saw Lynwood's basketball squad hold off Fairmont Prep by a tally of 51-46.
With the victory, Lynwood improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Paramount (Paramount, CA) to confront the Pirates in a San Gabriel Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 5. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Paramount lost 60-35 in their recent non-league challenge against American Fork (American Fork, UT)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) in a San Joaquin challenge, on Monday, January 3. Fairmont Prep will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Lightning come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA).
