Texas High School Basketball - Ponder overwhelmed by Seminole
December 30, 2021: Seminole, TX 79360 The Seminole Indians basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Ponder Lions to 53 in the Indians non-league victory on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gunter for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 30. Seminole will battle a Tigers team coming off a 48-32 non-league win over Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 13-7.
The Lions (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Callisburg was routed by Era (Era, TX), 55-26, in a non-league contest.
