Texas High School Basketball - Valley Mills knocked off by Abbott
December 30, 2022: Valley Mills, TX 76689 The Abbott Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Valley Mills Eagles to 43 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Calm for a 1A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Abbott will meet a team coming off a 67-22 non-league loss to Bynum (Bynum, TX). The record now stands at 3-9.
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Snook (Snook, TX). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Snook ran past Gonzales (Gonzales, TX), 67-56, in a non-league contest.
