The Out-of-Door Academy Thunder basketball team (Sarasota, FL), was nudged 63-57 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Academy at the Lakes Wildcats (Land O' Lakes, FL)

The Wildcats now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Classical Prep for a 2A District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Academy at the Lakes will confront a Lions team coming off a 90-22 league loss to Zephyrhills Christian Academy (Zephyrhills, FL). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.

The Thunder (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against The Classical Academy of Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record.
