Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting All Saints Central Cougars (Bay City, MI), 43-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Vassar upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Vulcans host Mayville (Mayville, MI) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 31. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Mayville won 55-29 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeville (Otisville, MI)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 31. All Saints Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 55-29 non-league loss to Mayville (Mayville, MI).
