In Friday's non-league outing, the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) basketball squad beat the host Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA), by a count of 66-57.

The Lions (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Mustangs go into the Washington Catholic outing with a 10-1 record.

The Patriots now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Highland for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 4. Virginia Academy will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 69-39 non-league win over Maret (Washington, DC). The Hawks record now stands at 11-2.
