The SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 60-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC). The Spartans go into the NCISAA Metrolina test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Gaston Day went down by Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV), 66-65, in a non-league test.

The Greenwave now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Gaston for a 3A Conference 50 test on Friday, January 6. Ashbrook will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 77-49 non-league loss to Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
