Nebraska High School Basketball - Pierce tops Auburn
December 30, 2022: Auburn, NE 68305 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) and the host Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE), saw Pierce's basketball squad knock off Auburn by a tally of 50-39.
With the victory, Pierce improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Aquinas (David City, NE) to play the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 2. Auburn will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 59-33 non-league win over Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE).
