Bentonville Tigers (Bentonville, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Van Buren Pointers (Van Buren, AR), 72-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bentonville upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Har-Ber (Springdale, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 6A West bout on Saturday, January 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Pointers play the Greenbrier Panthers (Greenbrier, AR) in a 5A West bout, on Friday, January 6. Van Buren will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record.
