Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Central Catholic edges John Carroll
December 30, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15213 The Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball nipped the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 80-74 in Friday's non-league test.
The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Rams go into the WPIAL 6A 1 test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Pine-Richland was tipped by Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA), 53-51, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host St. Frances Academy for a MIAA A - Black test on Wednesday, January 4.
