North Carolina High School Basketball - Weddington falls to Chambers

In Friday's non-league match, the host Chambers Cougars basketball team scored a good 64-49 triumph over the Weddington Warriors.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 31. Chambers will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 7-4 record after their 64-63 non-league win over Northside Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Weddington moves to 6-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to meet the Spartans in a 4A Conference 58 match on Tuesday, January 3. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 4-7. Sun Valley lost 65-58 in their recent non-league match against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)
