South Carolina High School Basketball - Stratford holds off Charleston Math & Science
December 30, 2022: Goose Creek, SC 29445 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC) and the visiting Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC), saw Stratford's basketball squad hold off Charleston Math & Science by a tally of 46-44.
With the victory, Stratford improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Knights travel to West Ashley (Charleston, SC) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. West Ashley lost 48-33 in their recent league challenge against Central Bucks West (Doylestown, PA)
Next up, the Riptide confront the Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix (North Charleston, SC) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Charleston Math & Science will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 58-40 league loss to Burke (Charleston, SC).
