December 30, 2022: Oakwood, GA 30566 The West Hall Spartans basketball team (Oakwood, GA), was toppled 70-58 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA)
The Bears now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Hall for a AAAA Region 8A battle on Tuesday, January 3. Cherokee Bluff will confront a Trojans team coming off a 64-49 non-league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-5.
The Spartans (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Wolves come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Wesleyan beat Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA), 44-42, in a non-league battle.
