Connecticut High School Basketball - Cheshire knocked off by Maloney
December 30, 2022: Meriden, CT 06450 The Maloney Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Cheshire Rams to 43 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis Mills for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Maloney will battle a Spartans team coming off a 51-49 non-league win over Wamogo (Litchfield, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 4-1.
The Rams (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Xavier ran past Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT), 48-46, in a non-league contest.
