Illinois High School Basketball - Curie thwarts Joliet West
December 30, 2022: Chicago, IL 60632 The Curie Condors (Chicago, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), 65-55 in Friday's non-league test.
The Condors (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Westinghouse (Chicago, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Westinghouse notched a victory over Ridgewood (Norridge, IL), 66-38, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Aurora for a SouthWest Prairie test on Tuesday, January 3. Joliet West will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 71-52 non-league loss to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Blackhawks record now stands at 9-5.
