Texas High School Basketball - Decatur ripped by Hitchcock
December 30, 2022: Decatur, TX 76234 The Hitchcock Bulldogs basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Decatur Eagles to 49 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harmony School of Discovery for a 3A Region III District 24 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Hitchcock will battle a Tigers team coming off a 74-56 league loss to Hempstead (Hempstead, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
The Eagles (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Burkburnett triumphed over Paradise (Paradise, TX), 63-48, in a non-league contest.
