December 30, 2022: Deerfield, IL 60015 The Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL), 54-48 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors go into the Central Suburban - North test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Maine West was tipped by Antioch (Antioch, IL), 67-65, in a non-league test.
The Dons now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Joliet Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic test on Tuesday, January 3. Niles Notre Dame will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 55-44 league win over Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-4.
