Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT) and the host Parowan Rams (Parowan, UT), saw Desert Hills's basketball squad overcome Parowan by a tally of 80-60.

With the victory, Desert Hills improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Thunder host Cedar (Cedar City, UT) to confront the Reds in a 4A Region 10 challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Reds come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Cedar won 64-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Canyon View (Cedar City, UT)

Next up, the Rams confront the San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT) in a 2A Region 19 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Parowan will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
