December 30, 2022: Lewisburg, TN 37091 In Friday's non-league outing, the East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL) basketball squad felled the host Marshall County Tigers (Lewisburg, TN), by a margin of 62-54.
The Indians (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Madison Academy (Madison, AL). The Mustangs go into the 5A Area 16 outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Madison Academy thwarted Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL), 63-59, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Giles County for a 2A District 10 match on Tuesday, January 3. Marshall County will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 76-48 non-league loss to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-6.
