North Carolina High School Basketball - Middle Creek can't hold off Eastern Randolph

The Eastern Randolph Wildcats basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Middle Creek Mustangs to 68 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwestern Randolph for a 1A/2A Conference 31 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Eastern Randolph will battle a Cougars team coming off a 58-52 non-league loss to Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.

The Mustangs (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts enter the 4A Conference 29 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Panther Creek nudged First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC), 74-60, in a non-league contest.
