Texas High School Basketball - Edgewood trounces Pewitt
December 30, 2022: Omaha, TX 75571 The Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) basketball crushed the host Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), 85-41 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 3-17 record. In their last test, Lone Oak was trounced by Quitman (Quitman, TX), 42-26, in a non-league test.
The Brahmas now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to New Boston for a 3A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, January 3. Pewitt will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 65-37 non-league loss to Hooks (Hooks, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-7.
