December 30, 2022: Elkton, SD 57026 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD) and the visiting Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD), saw Elkton/Lake Benton's basketball squad overcome Lyman by a tally of 68-51.
With the victory, Elkton/Lake Benton improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Deuel (Clear Lake, SD) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 31. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Deuel won 62-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Redfield (Redfield, SD)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) in a B Region 6 challenge, on Monday, January 2. Lyman will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 65-38 non-league loss to Winner (Winner, SD).
