Connecticut High School Basketball - Granby Memorial ripped by Farmington
December 30, 2022: Farmington, CT 06032 The Farmington River Hawks basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Granby Memorial Bears to 22 in the River Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The River Hawks now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Simsbury for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Farmington will meet a Trojans team coming off a 63-55 non-league loss to Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 4-1.
The Bears (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT). The Phoenix enter the Capitol Region contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy triumphed over Terryville (Terryville, CT), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
