Georgia High School Basketball - Flowery Branch trounces Lakeview Academy
December 30, 2022: Gainesville, GA 30501 The Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) basketball crushed the host Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA), 83-60 in Friday's non-league test.
The Falcons (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs go into the AAAAA Region 8 test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Winder-Barrow was trounced by Madison County (Danielsville, GA), 61-53, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Lakeview Academy will encounter a Paladins squad coming off a 60-48 non-league win over Georgia Force Christian (Sugar Hill, GA). The Paladins record now stands at 4-6.
