Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fort Myers Green Wave (Fort Myers, FL), 56-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Loyola Academy upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Ramblers host Leo (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Lions in a Chicago Catholic - White bout on Friday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Leo lost 55-51 in their recent non-league bout against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)

Next up, the Green Wave clash with the IMG Academy Silver Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Fort Myers will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
