December 30, 2022: Murrysville, PA 15668 The Plum Mustangs basketball team (Pittsburgh, PA), was overwhelmed 75-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA)
The Panthers now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penn-Trafford for a WPIAL 5A 3 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Franklin Regional will confront a Warriors team coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-7.
The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans come into the WPIAL 5A 2 battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Shaler Area trounced Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA), 54-53, in a non-league battle.
