Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Friends' Central knocked off by St. Joseph's Prep
December 30, 2022: Wynnewood, PA 19096 The St. Joseph's Prep Hawks basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Friends' Central to 60 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a Philadelphia Catholic contest on Tuesday, January 3. St. Joseph's Prep will battle a Patriots team coming off a 74-60 non-league win over Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 7-2.
The (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Moorestown Friends (Moorestown, NJ). The Foxes enter the Friends Schools contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Moorestown Friends was defeated by Woodstown (Woodstown, NJ), 56-42, in a non-league contest.
