The Friendship Tech Prep Academy (Washington, DC) varsity basketball team won Friday's neutral tournament game against Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD) by a score of 52-47.
The Friendship Tech Prep Academy Titans basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Takoma Academy Tigers to 47 in the Titans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Titans now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pallotti for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Friendship Tech Prep Academy will meet a Panthers team coming off a 67-59 non-league win over John Carroll (Bel Air, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.
The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD). The Mustangs enter the Maryland Independent contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Southern Maryland Christian Academy was nudged by Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD), 53-38, in a non-league contest.
