December 30, 2022: North Richland Hills, TX 76180 The Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX) basketball felled the host Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX), 64-52 in Friday's non-league test.
The Grizzlies (17-9) will now prepare for their test against Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Life Waxahachie thwarted Greenville (Greenville, TX), 55-50, in a non-league test.
The Royals now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Colleyville Heritage for a 5A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, January 3. Richland will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 59-57 non-league win over Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 14-4.
