Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette tops Hickman
December 30, 2022: Columbia, MO 65203 Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO), 48-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lafayette upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Kirkwood (Kirkwood, MO) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Kirkwood won 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against MICDS (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Kewpies play the Ozark Tigers (Ozark, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Hickman will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 61-32 non-league loss to Kickapoo (Springfield, MO).
