The Bears now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Capitan for a Central California Conference contest on Wednesday, January 4. Merced will meet a Gauchos team coming off a 59-44 non-league loss to East Union (Manteca, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 8-8.
The Lions (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Madera (Madera, CA). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Madera ran past Madera South (Madera, CA), 80-41, in a non-league contest.
