December 30, 2022: Longview, TX 75608 In Friday's non-league outing, the Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX) basketball squad felled the host Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), by a margin of 66-57.
The Bobcats (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Van Alstyne thwarted Bishop (Bishop, TX), 56-46, in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tyler for a 5A Region II District 15 outing on Tuesday, January 3. Pine Tree will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 51-40 non-league win over Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX). The Lions record now stands at 11-5.
