December 30, 2022: Maple Grove, MN 55369 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) and the visiting Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN), saw Maple Grove's basketball squad wallop Sartell-St. Stephen by a count of 81-51.
With the victory, Maple Grove upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Crimson host Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Totino-Grace won 88-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Anoka (Anoka, MN)
Next up, the Sabres play the Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Sartell-St. Stephen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Spuds come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 84-58 non-league win over Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN).
