Wisconsin High School Basketball - Xavier nudges Martin Luther
December 30, 2022: Greendale, WI 53129 Xavier Hawks (Appleton, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI), 64-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Xavier upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Valders (Valders, WI) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Valders won 69-62 in their recent non-league bout against Wrightstown (Wrightstown, WI)
Next up, the Spartans clash with the The Prairie School Hawks (Racine, WI) in a Metro Classic bout, on Thursday, January 5. Martin Luther will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 66-45 non-league win over Columbus Catholic (Marshfield, WI).
