Ohio High School Basketball - Rock Hill nips Meigs
December 30, 2022: Pomeroy, OH 45769 Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), 67-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Rock Hill upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Redmen host Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH) to play the Trojans in a Ohio Valley bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Portsmouth lost 64-55 in their recent non-league game against Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH)
With the defeat, Meigs moves to 3-7 on the year. The Marauders host Vinton County (McArthur, OH) to face the Vikings in a Tri-Valley I game on Friday, January 6. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 6-1.
