The Mount St. Joseph Gaels basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints to 58 in the Gaels non-league victory on Friday.

The Gaels now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Town for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Mount St. Joseph will battle a team coming off a 57-49 non-league loss to Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The record now stands at 5-1.

The Saints (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Albans (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs come into the Interstate Athletic contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, St. Albans edged Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD), 74-59, in a non-league contest.
