California High School Basketball - Murrieta Valley topples Shadow Hills

In Friday's non-league outing, the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA), by a margin of 65-57.

The Nighthawks (6-11) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Temecula, CA). The Pumas go into the Southwestern outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Chaparral was knocked off by JW North (Riverside, CA), 61-47, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Knights play the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 2. Shadow Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Swordsmen come into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 66-55 non-league win over San Gabriel Academy (San Gabriel, CA).
