Virginia High School Basketball - Yorktown winner over Osbourn
December 30, 2022: Arlington, VA 22207 The Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) basketball felled the visiting Osbourn Eagles (Manassas, VA), 66-57 in Friday's non-league test.
The Patriots (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons go into the District 2 test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Langley thwarted Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA), 52-44, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Patriot for a Cedar Run test on Tuesday, January 3. Osbourn will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 68-66 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-2.
