Maine High School Basketball - Seacoast Christian overwhelms Temple Academy
December 30, 2022: Waterville, ME Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Seacoast Christian Guardians (South Berwick, ME) and the host Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME), saw Seacoast Christian's basketball squad wallop Temple Academy by a count of 51-29.
With the victory, Seacoast Christian upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Guardians travel to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. North Yarmouth Academy lost 55-46 in their recent league challenge against Waynflete (Portland, ME)
Next up, the Bereans play the Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Temple Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 67-57 league loss to Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME).
