New York High School Basketball - Weston nips Woodlands
December 30, 2022: Hartsdale, NY 10530 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) and the host Woodlands Falcons (Hartsdale, NY), saw Weston's basketball squad hold off Woodlands by a count of 62-60.
With the victory, Weston upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to play the Presidents in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Presidents come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Harding lost 56-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Charles Town, WV)
Next up, the Falcons play the Dobbs Ferry Eagles (Dobbs Ferry, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 3C challenge, on Friday, January 20. Woodlands will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
